SBI PO Online Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
Eligible candidates aspiring to become Probationary Officers (PO) in SBI in 2025 must register online through the SBI website for the PO Recruitment Process 2025-2026. The SBI PO Examination 2025 will consist of three phases: a Preliminary examination (Objective Type of 100 marks and Online), a Main examination, and a Group Exercise & Interview.
Candidates shortlisted after the SBI PO Preliminary examination 2025, scheduled for July/August 2025, will proceed to the Main examination (Objective Type of 200 marks and online) in September 2025.
Shortlisted candidates from the main examination will be invited for Group Exercises & Interview in October/November 2025.

Vacancy Details
- Probationary Officers (PO): 541 vacancies (Regular-500, Backlog-41) (UR-203, EWS-50, OBC-135, SC-80, ST-73) (PWD-20)
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Final year/Semester students may also apply.
- Age: 21-30 years as of 01/04/2024. Age relaxation applies as per government rules.
- Pay Scale: ₹48480-85920. Candidates will start with a basic pay of ₹48480/- (with 4 advance increments) in Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I).
Selection Procedure
The selection process for Probationary Officers involves three phases:
- Phase-I: Preliminary Examination - Objective Test for 100 marks (online, 1 hour duration)
- Phase-II: Main Examination - Objective tests for 200 marks and Descriptive test for 50 marks (online, 3 hours and 30 minutes)
- Phase-III: (a) Psychometric Test (b) Group Exercise (c) Personal Interview - for candidates shortlisted for Phase-III
Application Fee
An application fee of ₹750/- applies (₹120/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates). Payment is to be made online.
