Indian Navy SSC Officer Recruitment January 2026 Course

The Indian Navy is offering opportunities for unmarried (male/female) candidates to join as Short Service Commission (SSC) Officers in various disciplines. This recruitment is for the course commencing January 2026 onwards at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerala. Successful candidates will be appointed as Group-A SSC Officers in Indian Navy stations.

- Naval Air Operations Officer (NAOO) (Observers): 22 vacancies

- Logistics: 28 vacancies
Education Branch
- Education: 15 vacancies in various subjects/disciplines
Technical Branch
- Engineering Branch [General Service (GS)]: 38 vacancies in various engineering disciplines
- Electrical Branch [General Service (GS)]: 45 vacancies in various engineering disciplines
- Naval Constructor Branch [General Service (GS)]: 18 vacancies in various engineering disciplines
Basic Requirements
- Physical Standards: Height and Weight: Minimum height Male - 157 CM, with correlated weight.
- Eye Sight - The minimum acceptable standard for distant vision 6/12, 6/12 correctable to 6/6 with glasses. Candidates should not be colour/night blind.
- Pay Scale: Pay Level-10 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix ₹56100-11070 with MSP and other allowances.
- NCC ‘C’ certificate holders will be given a relaxation of 5% in cut-off marks towards shortlisting for SSB.
