BHEL Engineer Supervisor Trainee Recruitment 2025 Vacancies

Engineer Trainee Positions

• Engineer Trainee: 150 vacancies (UR-60, EWS-15, OBC-41, SC-23, ST-11) (PWD-7), Age: 27 years (29 years for PG Degree holder) as of 01/02/2025, Qualification: Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering /Technology or Five-year integrated Master’s degree or Dual Degree programme in Engineering or Technology in relevant engineering discipline, Stipend and Pay Scale: During training period, basic pay of ₹50000/- in the scale of pay of ₹50000-160000/- will be paid. After successful completion of training, the trainees will be absorbed in the scale of pay of ₹60000-180000/- with a basic pay of ₹60000/-
  1. Mechanical Engineering: 70 vacancies (UR-28, EWS-7, OBC-20, SC-10, ST-5) (PWD-3)
  2. Electrical Engineering: 25 vacancies (UR-10, EWS-2, OBC-7, SC-4, ST-2) (PWD-2)
  3. Civil Engineering: 25 vacancies (UR-10, EWS-2, OBC-7, SC-4, ST-2)

Supervisor Trainee Positions

• Supervisor Trainee: 250 vacancies (UR-111, EWS-23, OBC-60, SC-39, ST-17) (PWD-10), Age: 27 years as of 01/02/2025, Qualification: Full time regular Diploma in Engineering with 65% marks in the relevant discipline, Stipend and Pay Scale: During training period, basic pay of ₹32000/- in the scale of pay of ₹32000-100000/- will be paid. After successful completion of training, the trainees will be absorbed as Supervisors in the scale of pay of ₹33500-120000/- with a basic pay of ₹33500/-
  1. Mechanical Engineering: 140 vacancies (UR-64, EWS-14, OBC-30, SC-22, ST-10) (PWD-6)
  2. Electrical Engineering: 55 vacancies (UR-24, EWS-3, OBC-15, SC-10, ST-3) (PWD-3)
  3. Civil Engineering: 35 vacancies (UR-13, EWS-4, OBC-10, SC-5, ST-3)
  4. Electronics Engineering: 20 vacancies (UR-10, EWS-2, OBC-5, SC-2, ST-1) (PWD-1)

Selection Process

Engineer Trainee Selection

Candidates will have to appear for a Computer Based Examination (CBE). Based on the CBE Marks and requirement, candidates will be shortlisted for Interview. The final merit list shall be prepared on the basis of 75% weightage to Computer Based Examination Score & 25% weightage to Interview Score.

Supervisor Trainee Selection

The selection process comprises of two stages. Candidates shall have to clear both the stages in order to be considered on the merit list.

1. Stage I: Computer Based Examination All prima facie eligible candidates will have to appear for a Computer Based Examination (CBE) to be held tentatively in the month of April, 2025.
2. Stage II: Document Verification/ Scrutiny Document Verification/ Scrutiny is the second stage of the selection process.

Application Fee

A non-refundable processing fee of ₹600/- plus ₹400/- + GST (total ₹1072/-) as processing fee is payable by the General, OBC and EWSs candidates to be paid through online modes only. The SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen candidates are required to pay ₹400/- + GST (total ₹472/-) as processing fee.
