Selection Process
The selection process for Constable (Tradesman) 2025 in BSF will consist of the following stages:
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Documentation
- Trade Test
- Written Examination
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
The Written Examination will be conducted at various Examination Centres through Computer Based Test (CBT) or OMR based answer sheets. The Written Examination will be of 100 marks containing 100 questions (qualifying marks 35% for General Category/EWS & Ex. Servicemen and 33% for SC/ST/OBC). The questions will be objective type multiple choice questions based on the class-10th syllabus.
Application Fee
Candidates belonging to UR/General, EWS category or OBC category will have to deposit ₹100/- as examination fee through online mode. Women candidates and candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste, the Scheduled Tribes, BSF serving personnel and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from payment of examination fee.

Eligible candidates should apply through the online application mode in the prescribed format available at the recruitment website of BSF on or before 23/08/2025. Candidates can apply for only one post/trade.
