Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) intends to recruit young engineering graduates for the position of Scientist/Engineer 'SC'. This is a Group-A Gazetted Officer Employee category vacancy in Level-10 of the 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix, with a starting salary of ₹56100. Educational Qualification
BE/B.Tech. in First Class or equivalent with an aggregate minimum of 65% (average of all semesters for which results are available) OR CGPA 6.84/10.
Age Limit
28 years as of 19/05/2025 (Age relaxation applicable for Serving Govt. employees, Ex-Servicemen; Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, meritorious Sports persons as per Govt. of India orders).
Selection Process
The selection process will be based on screening for Interview using valid GATE-2024 or GATE-2025 Scores.
Application Fee
The Application Fee is ₹250/- for each application payable online. Initially, all candidates must pay ₹750/- as a processing fee. The processing fee will be refunded to candidates who appear in the written test as follows:
- ₹750/- refund for candidates exempt from the Application Fee (women, SC/ST/ PwBD, Ex-Servicemen).
- ₹500/- refund (after deducting the Application Fee) for all other candidates.
Women/Scheduled Castes (SC)/ Scheduled Tribes (ST); Ex-serviceman [EX] and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates are exempt from payment of the Application Fee.
