Assistant Engineer
- Assistant Engineer: 1024 vacancies for various departments/organizations of the Government of Bihar.
- Age: 18-37 years as of 01/08/2024 (Relaxation for Female/SC/ST/PWD/EWS/BC candidates as per Bihar Government rules).
- Pay Scale: Level-9 (Pre-revised pay scale ₹9300-34800 Grade Pay ₹5400/-) with all other allowances as per Bihar Government.
- Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute.
Discipline-wise Vacancies:
- Assistant Engineer (Civil): 984 vacancies
- Assistant Engineer (Mechanical): 36 vacancies
- Assistant Engineer (Electrical): 04 vacancies
Application Fee
The application fee is ₹750/- (₹200/- for SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates of Bihar state) along with a biometric fee of ₹200/- for each post. The fee must be paid online.
Selection Process
The selection for the Assistant Engineer posts will be based on a written examination comprising Objective type and Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
