UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant Recruitment Examination 2025
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct a written examination on 03/08/2025 for the recruitment of 357 Group-A category Assistant Commandants in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz. Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) under Central Armed Forces Assistant Commandant Recruitment Examination, 2025 (Advt. No. 09/2025-CPF).

Eligibility Criteria
- Age: 20-25 years as of 1st August 2025. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree from a recognised university or equivalent.
- Physical Standards: Candidates must meet the prescribed physical fitness standards.
- Sex: Both male and female candidates are eligible for BSF, CRPF and CISF. Only male candidates are eligible for ITBP and SSB.
Additional Information
Possession of an NCC B or C Certificate is a desirable qualification and will be considered during the Interview/Personality Test.
Pay Scale: Pay Level-10 ₹56100-177500 in 7th CPC Pay Matrix
Selection Procedure
The selection process involves a written examination, followed by Physical Standards/ Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Standards Test conducted by the Ministry of Home Affairs, and a Personality Test/ Interview conducted by UPSC.

Application Fee
An application fee of ₹200/- is applicable. SC/ST/Women candidates are exempted from fee payment. Payment can be made through SBI branches (cash), Net Banking, or Credit/Debit Card.

Eligible candidates must apply online through the UPSC website from 05/03/2025 to 25/03/2025. Corrections to the online applications can be made from 26/03/2025 to 01/04/2025 until 6.00 PM.
