The Sports Department of Chandigarh Administration is inviting online applications from eligible candidates to fill Government Job vacancy posts of Junior Sports Coaches in various sports disciplines on a regular basis for the year 2025. (Advertisement No.01/2025).

- Sports Coaches: 08 vacancies (UR-5, OBC-1, SC-2) for Chandigarh Sports Department, Pay Scale: ₹9300-34800/- Grade Pay ₹4200/- (to be revised as per 7th CPC as Pay Level-6 ₹35400-112400), Age: 21-37 years as of 01/01/2025.

Application Fee
An application fee of ₹1000/- (₹500 for SC candidates, no fee for PWD candidates) is to be paid through online mode/challan.
Selection Process
The selection process includes a written examination of 75 Marks for 2 hours duration. A minimum of 38 marks are required to qualify the written exam. Candidates qualified in the written exam will be called for interaction/checking of original documents. 20 Marks (Maximum) will be given to the applicants based on their sports achievements as per the Technical Selection Criteria. Highest achievement will be taken for allotting the marks to decide the merits of the candidates for the selection procedure. 05 Marks (Maximum) will be given to the applicants on the basis of experience as Coach in the concerned discipline (1 Mark for every 1 year subject to maximum of 5 marks). Experience below 1 year shall not be counted.
