Salary Structure

• Assistant Loco Pilot: Pay Level 7
• Technician III: Pay Level 2
• Junior Engineer: Pay Level 6

Educational Qualifications

• Assistant Loco Pilot: Matriculation Pass + ITI / Diploma in relevant trade (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Instrument Mechanic / Mill Wright).
• Technician III: Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI in relevant trade (Electrician / Electronics / Wireman / Mechanic / Painter / Welder / Fitter / Machinist / Instrument etc.).
• Junior Engineer: 03 years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Tools & Machining / Production / Automobile or relevant Engineering discipline.

Eligibility Criteria for SECR GDCE 2023

• Candidates must be regular employees of SECR as of 1st July 2023, having completed a minimum of 2 years of service in the recruitment grade and probation period successfully.
• Resigned or transferred candidates from SECR to other railways will not be considered for empanelment or appointment.
