Vacancy Details
The IOCL Apprentice Recruitment offers a total of 490 vacancies across different categories:
- Trade Apprentice: 150 vacancies
- Technician Apprentice: 110 vacancies
- Graduate Apprentice / Accounts Executive: 230 vacancies
Job Locations
The selected apprentices will be stationed in various locations within the Southern Region, including Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Telangana, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Kerala.
Eligibility Criteria
Trade Apprentice
Applicants must have completed Matriculation and possess a regular full-time 2-year ITI certificate in a relevant trade recognized by NCVT / SCVT.
Technician Apprentice
Applicants must have a regular full-time 3-year diploma in a relevant engineering discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).
Accounts Executive/Graduate Apprentice
Applicants must hold a regular full-time graduate degree (BBA/ B.A/ B. Com/ B.Sc.) in any discipline with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).
Age Limit
Applicants should be between 18 and 24 years of age as of 31st August 2023. Age relaxations are applicable for different categories:
- SC/ST: Up to 29 years
- OBC-NCL: Up to 27 years
- PWD: Up to 34 years
Selection Process
The selection process includes an online test with objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Candidates need to choose the correct option out of the four provided.

- For Trade Apprentice (ITI): Register at http://apprenticeshipindia.org/candidate-registration
- For Technician Apprentice (Diploma): Register at https://www.mhrdnats.gov.in/boat/commonRedirect/registermenunew!registermenunew.action
- For Trade Apprentice (Accounts Executive/Graduate Apprentice): Provide non-engineering graduate enrollment ID after joining
Once registered, apply online through the IOCL Online Application Portal from 25th August 2023. Remember to upload self-attested copies of essential documents.
